A joyful moment captured in a lush green garden with yellow wildflowers blooming in the background.

perfectly posed is overrated

real life is messy, loud, chaotic, and beautiful.

that’s the stuff worth remembering.

before we talk about sessions

if you’re looking for perfectly posed photos where everyone stands in a straight line and smiles at the camera…

i’m probably not your photographer.

kids move.

hair gets messy.

someone will probably end up laughing when they weren’t supposed to.

that’s the stuff i care about.

the chaos.

the real laughs.

the way your kid wraps themselves around your leg like you’re their whole world.

those little moments you don’t think about right now?

those are the ones you’ll miss someday.

that’s what we’re documenting.

what it’s actually like working with me

your kids don’t have to sit still.

you don’t have to know how to pose.

and nobody is expected to be perfect.

we’ll walk around.

we’ll talk.

we’ll probably laugh a lot.

i’ll give you direction when you need it and space when you don’t.

most of the best photos happen somewhere in the middle of the chaos anyway.

choose your chaos

i keep things pretty simple around here.

there are two session options depending on how much time you want and how much story you want to capture —

but the goal is always the same: photos that actually feel like your life.

A couple embraces in a field at sunset with golden light filtering through wildflowers and tall grass.

memories + meltdowns - $550

60 minutes of real life: the laughter, the chaos, the “why are you licking your brother” moments. you’ll walk away with 30+ hand-edited images that look like your family, not a pinterest board.

epic chaos - $750

90 minutes of unfiltered storytelling. perfect for bigger crews, outfit changes, or if you want the whole narrative start to finish. you’ll get 60+ hand-edited images — all the good stuff, none of the stiff smiles.

my job? to catch the feral magic before it grows up. you bring the chaos, i’ll bring the camera, and together we’ll make something absolutely unhinged.

more than just photos

when you book a session with me, you’re not just getting a gallery.

you’re also getting:

• help choosing a location if you need it

• outfit guidance if you want it

• a laid-back session where nobody has to perform

• hand-edited images that feel honest and real

no stiff posing.

no fake smiles.

just your life, the way it actually looks.

the boring but important part

a retainer is required to lock in your date.

the remaining balance is due before your session.

if the weather is terrible, we reschedule.

if your kids are wild…

honestly that just makes the photos better.

A series of tender family moments captured outdoors in natural light with soft earth tones and gentle interactions.

one last thing

one day the chaos you’re living in right now will be the thing you miss the most.

the loud house.

the messy hair.

the way your kids reach for you without thinking.

these photos are proof that this season existed.

before it turns into a memory.

questions people usually ask before booking

what if my kids are wild?

perfect.

kids are supposed to be wild. they run, they climb on you, they get distracted, they laugh at the wrong time — that’s real life.

some of the best photos happen right in the middle of the chaos.

what if we don’t know how to pose?

you don’t need to.

i’ll guide you when you need it, but most of what we do is just interacting like normal humans.

talk to your kids. hug them. walk around. play.

the goal isn’t perfection — it’s connection.

what should we wear?

wear something that feels like you.

neutrals and earthy tones photograph beautifully, but the most important thing is that you feel comfortable. if you want help choosing outfits, i’m always happy to help.

where do sessions take place?

most sessions happen outdoors around the metro st. louis / ste. genevieve area.

i have a handful of favorite locations i love to shoot at, but i’m always open to new spots too.

do you offer mini sessions?

yes! mini sessions happen throughout the year at specific locations and dates.

those are announced on my social media first.

how many photos will we get?

it depends on the session you choose, but you’ll always receive at least the number listed in your package — usually more.

every image in your gallery is hand-edited by me.

seasonal mini sessions include 10 digital images but you always have the option to purchase more if you want. $35/per image or $275/full gallery.

when will we get our photos?

galleries are typically delivered within 2–3 weeks.

sometimes sooner if i’m feeling extra productive and fueled by chaos.

what if the weather is terrible?

missouri weather likes to be dramatic.

if it’s raining, storming, or otherwise miserable, we’ll reschedule your session.

can we bring extended family?

for the epic chaos session, absolutely.

if you’re planning something bigger than your immediate household, just let me know ahead of time so we can plan accordingly.

how do we book?

just click the booking link, choose your session, and pick a date.

once the retainer is paid, your spot is officially locked in.

what if my partner hates photos?

honestly… most partners say that at first.

but once they realize the session isn’t stiff or awkward and mostly just feels like hanging out with their family, they usually end up having a good time.

why invest in family photos?

because time is rude and kids grow way too fast.

one minute they’re climbing on you and asking a million questions.

the next minute they’re taller than you and don’t want hugs in public anymore.

these photos are proof that this wild little chapter existed.

before it disappears.

A group of people walking together on a scenic mountain trail during a moody, cloudy sunset.

before you go

right now your life probably feels loud.

kids running around.

laundry everywhere.

someone asking for snacks every five minutes.

it might not feel like a moment worth documenting.

but one day the house will be quieter.

and you’ll wish you could go back for just a minute to hear the chaos again.

that’s what these photos are for.

a little piece of this chapter — exactly as it was.

no perfect families required.
