hi,

i’m jamie.

A couple shares a joyful moment at sunset on rocky terrain with autumn trees in the background.
A family stands together on a rocky overlook during golden hour with autumn trees in the background.

professional memory hoarder.

documenter of small chaotic humans.

the human behind clumsy heart photography.

i photograph real life as it happens.

kids running around.

parents trying their best.

someone usually covered in dirt by the end.

nothing overly posed.

nothing forced.

just honest photos of your family being your family.

A couple shares intimate moments during a golden hour photoshoot in a natural outdoor setting.

i’ve been photographing families for about 14 years now, and here’s the thing i’ve noticed.

the photos people end up loving the most are almost never the “perfect” ones.

it’s the toddler meltdown everyone laughed about later.

the way your kid still grabs your hand without thinking.

the loud, messy, chaotic parts of life.

those are the moments that disappear the fastest.

life moves quick. like… weirdly quick.

one minute you’re rocking a newborn at 3am,

and the next they’re suddenly big enough to walk into school without you.

photos are one of the only ways to freeze that for a minute.

that’s why i do this.

the vibe

my sessions are relaxed, movement-based, and a little chaotic in the best way.

your kids don’t have to sit still.

you don’t have to know how to pose.

you don’t have to show up perfect.

you just show up as your family.

i’ll take care of the rest.

a few things about me

• mom of two boys

• married to my husband patrick

• usually reading something horror / sci-fi / thriller

• will absolutely lose track of time playing a video game

• professional hype woman during your session

• deeply allergic to stiff poses and fake smiles

why hire a photographer?

A family poses together in a forest setting during golden hour sunset with warm autumn lighting and fallen leaves.

because life doesn’t slow down.

one day your kid is missing their front teeth and climbing on everything…

and somehow five minutes later they’re suddenly taller than you.

these little seasons disappear faster than anyone warns you about.

phones are great for quick snapshots, but most of the time that means you’re the one behind the camera and not actually in the photos.

professional photography freezes a tiny piece of time.

the connection.

the chaos.

the way your family looks right now.

not perfect. just real.

and someday those photos will mean a whole lot more than you expect.

things you should know before booking me

kids don’t have to behave.

running, dirt, chaos — all welcome.

you don’t need to know how to pose.

and nobody has to look perfect.

real life always photographs better anyway.

if your kids are loud, wild, goofy, shy, or somewhere in between… they’re exactly the kind of humans i love photographing.

People running and playing together on a grassy field during a joyful outdoor gathering.

if you're looking for perfectly posed photos where everyone stands still and smiles at the camera…

i’m probably not your photographer.

but if you're okay with kids being a little feral, things getting a little chaotic, and photos that actually feel like your life —

then we’ll probably get along great.

let’s document this season before it disappears.

questions first? send me a message.

the photos of me on this page were taken by some very talented humans behind the camera.
